What is the best way to view my pictures online?

The best way to view your pictures online is with your screen resolution set to 800 X 600 and your video card set to display a minimum of 16 Bit High Color. The reason for these settings is so that you can have the best idea of what the final prints will look like. Back to Top

Why do I need a password and where do I find mine?

Each organization has been assigned a permanent password which will allow access to any events in which the organization has been involved. This password will remain the organization's password for the entire school year. For maximum security, members should not share their passwords with people who are not in their organization. Events such as Parent's Day will have an additional password which will enable your family members to view that particular event ONLY. In other words, if you give your mother your House Password, she will be able to see pictures from every event. If you are a new member or have forgotten your password, it can be obtained from your Picture Rep or Social Chair. The Picture Man will not provide passwords over the telephone as we will not be able to confirm your identity. If you are not a member of a Fraternity or Sorority, you should have been provided an internet password card at your event. If you did not receive or have missplaced this card, you will need to contact the person in your organization who arranged the event for your particular organization. Back to Top

Can I use AOL on The Picture Man site?

This is a two part question: If you mean "Can I use my AOL dial-up account (how you get on-line) to access The Picture Man site?", the answer is yes. If you mean "Can I use AOL's internal browser (not Internet Explorer 5 /Netscape 6 or higher) to view and purchase my pictures?", the answer is maybe. If you are using v6 or v7 you should have no problems. If you use AOL for your internet connection, the proceedure for running Internet Explorer or Netscape is as follows:

-Connect to the Internet (make your modem dial) as usual.

-Once you have connected, minimize (do not shut down) AOL

-Run Internet Explorer. Internet Explorer is part of Windows and is symbolized by a blue, lowercase "e" and can be downloaded by clicking HERE.

Why does your site say I have to upgrade my browser?

Due to great demand for cross event, multiple organization, and multiple size ordering, we were required to use programming which only the most current web browsers understand. Versions of Internet Explorer older than 5, Netscape versions older than 6 and AOL versions older than 5 will not work correctly on the site. If you attempt to view an event with one of these older browsers, you will be redirected to a download page for the most current version of Internet Explorer. Back to Top

When will my event be on-line? or I cannot find my event online.

We make every effort to place events online within 24 hours of their occurance. In many instances, the event will be online the morning after the event. On particularly busy nights such as Bid Day, Valentine's Day, and Halloween, events may take longer to appear. Events that occur on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday will be online by 5 PM Monday. If you cannot locate your event online, there are two possibilities.

-The event is not online as of yet. Please be patient, it will be online as soon as is possible.

-The event deadline has passed. Events are online for 10 school days from the day they are posted. Back to Top

How long will my event be online?

Events will be on-line for 30 days beginning on the day they were posted. Events will expire and go off-line at Midnight on the 30th day. Events which occur near to a long break such as Christmas or Finals week will be posted for a longer period of time. Once events go off-line they cannot be put back on-line.Back to Top

Can I have my picture removed from The Picture Man site?

Yes, we make every effort to censor the pictures which go on-line, but occasionally we miss a picture which may need to be removed. Additionally, there may be a picture which might cause embarrassment to a member. If this is the case, please e-mail us at with the specific event name and frame number. Back to Top

How long will it take to receive my pictures?

Orders which consist entirely of color 4X6 candids will be mailed within 72 business hours of your order. During busy times of the year such as Bid Day, Valentines' Day & Halloween, orders may take an additional day or two for processing. Orders which contain Black & White images, 5X7's, and/or 8X10s will be mailed within 7 business days of your order. Graduation packages ordered within the deadline will be mailed within 28 business days of the deadline date. Late Graduation orders will mail within 28 business days from the date we receive your order. Back to Top

How is postage calculated?

This applies to candid/party pictures only. The base shipping rate for any order is $0.39. Each 4x6 in the order will add an additional .05 to the shipping. Each 5X7 in the order will add an additional .15 to the shipping cost. Each 8X10 ordered will add an additional .25 to the shipping total. Due to its size and requiring a shipping tube, a 10x15 will have a shipping charge of $3.00 and will be shipped seperately from all other prints in an order.For example: An order consisting of 6 4X6 prints (.30) 2 5X7 prints (.30) and 1 8X10 (.25) would have a total shipping charge of $1.22. How will I receive my prints?

Orders which consist entirely of COLOR 4X6 candids will be shipped via first class mail within 72 business hours of your order. Orders which contain B&W images, 5X7's, and/or 8X10's will be mailed within 7 Business Days. This applies to candid/party pictures only. Back to Top

Is ordering online safe? Is there any other way I can order my pictures?

Ordering online through your secure browser and our secure server is a great deal more safe than handing your credit card to a waiter or gas station clerk. Due to the automated nature of our system, we do not accept orders or reorders at our office. Back to Top

My prints have not arrived, what should I do?

If your prints do not arrive within 9 business days of your order, you should first verify through your confirmation email that you entered your mailing address correctly. If your address is correct please contact our office via email at with the specific order number, event name and frame number(s). You may also call our offices with the above information at 706-353-7565. This applies to candid/party pictures only. Back to Top

My Organization has 2 events online, how do I order from both?

Simply log into your organization's event page using the organization password and view and select images from the first event you wish to order. (Do not checkout) On the left hand side of the page, there is an icon which says "Switch to New Event", click on it to be taken back out to your Organization's Event List. Pick the second event you wish to order from and pick the images you want. You may now check out with both events in one shopping cart. Back to Top

How do I order pictures from 2 different organizations?

Assuming that you know 2 different passwords, (we do not take responsibility for nor suggest that members give non-members their organizational passwords) you would first log into your Organization's Event Page by using your Organization's Password. View and select the images you wish to purchase. (Do not checkout) On the left hand side of the page, there is an icon which says "Switch Organizations", click on it to be taken back out to the main password login. Enter the password of the additional Organization, select the event from which you wish to order, and pick the images you want. You may now check out with both events in one shopping cart. What are jpgs via email and how long does it take to receive them?

Jpgs via email are not offered on every event or event category. Candid jpgs via email are our exact print files from which your 4x6 candid pictures are printed. They will be sent to you via your email address. This part of the system is not automated and these emails must be created by hand. You should receive your jpg email on the next business day from your order. Sending these emails is a manual process so there is a small handling fee (currently 41¢) charged on each order.Back to Top
